The OPTICAL SNS SIP1210-1C is Part of the successful DaVincy family of hardened Din-Rail CCTV and Industrial POE Ethernet Switches. The DaVinci SX1213 is a line of high-class rugged switches that provide high availability and designed for hard environments to enhance the operation of the network. The DaVinci SX1213 Series of Switches enhances any network performance by providing 10/100/1000 Mbps communication over existing Category 5/6 copper cabling as well as High Speed fiber-optic connectivity to the backbone through Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) optical transceivers. The DaVinci SX1213 Series Switches are in a compact size Din-Rail form factor, it is ideal for robust outdoor application like video surveillance / FTTx and Wi-Fi coverage in critical environments. The switches provide a rich and versatile selection of Gigabit and Fast Ethernet port density. The DaVinci SX1213 Series provide a rugged enclosure designed to support high level EMC capability. The compact size, the Din-Rail form factor and the space-saving provide unique solution for installers and easy deployment.
The IEEE 802.3af/at Power over Ethernet (POE) capabilities enable to power devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, network cameras, security and lighting devices, and access control devices. Auto MDI/MDIX ports identify and adapt to the Ethernet cable type, eliminating the most common cabling errors and simplifying installation. The SIP1210-1C includes many useful features listed below:
Auto Speed Sensing.
The Switch senses whether a network device is running at 10Mbps or 100Mbps and automatically adjusts for optimal performance.
Auto Negotiation (Full or Half Duplex).
Whether you are running at Half- or in Full-Duplex, the Switch automatically negotiates and runs the highest supported transmission rate.
Auto MDI/MDIX Crossover.
All ports support auto-negotiating MDI/MDIX detection, which eliminates the need for crossover cables or uplink ports. The SIP1210-1C is the perfect choice for Plug-&-Play support for 10BASE-T and 100BASE-T networks.
Wire-speed Performance
The SIP1210-1C features a non-blocking wire-speed architecture, with a 5.6 Gbps switching capacity, for maximum data throughput. The OPTICAL SNS SIP1210-1C also features an integrated per port diagnostics LEDs that make it easy to “spot check” for problems. With wire-speed filtering and Store-and-Forward switching, the SIP1210-1C maximizes network performance while minimizing the propagation of bad network packets.
